My passion for photography started when my dad tried to show me how to use a basic SLR camera. It wasn't until I travelled to Australia and South East Asia that I started to shoot photographs constantly and wanted to make a career out of photography. I trained as a photojournalist and worked for regional and national newspapers such as the Derby Telegraph, Reveal magazine and The Daily Telegraph.

For the past ten years I've been working as a freelance photographer and loving every minute of it. I learned my craft from a set of distinguished photographers that have been in the industry for 30 years or more.

I completed a BA in photography at Derby University and in 2009 I completed a (MFA) Masters in documentary photography at The University of Wales, Newport. I am very passionate about photography, whether I'm talking about somebody else's work or photographing a bunch of old scooter boys. Every day I take a picture whether it's a commission or a personal project or something I've seen on my way home from the studio.

Why not contact me and we can speak about your creative project.
